This was a collaborative project with Ewa Borowska, an MA Director from Drama Centre London. We explored the themes and concepts of the play, namely the conflict between illusion and reality, the tendecy of human nature to project different personas around different people, and the harsh reality of life compared to the facade of the actors.

 

We played around with character and colour palette, clean white and beige to represent the polished facade of the stage, and murky blacks to evoke the grim truth of the six characters.
